Puppy Testing Information

Puppies can be tested from the age of 4 weeks. However, smaller breed puppies may need to be 5 weeks old to ensure they are sufficiently large enough for blood collection. Larger breed puppies can sometimes be tested slightly earlier.

While a buccal swab is an option, blood tests are generally more reliable for puppies, as they often lick and play with each other, which can lead to cross-contamination.
